Q: What is Media-Stream?
A: Media-Stream is a streaming app that allows you to watch the pictures from your iPhone, iPad or iPod on compatible devices.
Q: What devices are compatible?
A: We are working on adding more products to the list of devices and media center solutions that are compatible with Media-Stream.
Currently, our app is compatible with :
TV: LG, Samsung, Sony TV sets with network connectivity ( wired or wireless ).
Various DLNA enabled set top boxes / media players, for example WD TV Live.
Xbox 360 (Media Center Extender mode), PS3
Q: I use a Mac. How i can see pictures using Media Stream ?
A: You can use XBMC for Mac. Please enable UPNP control in XBMC to be able to see pictures. Tested and working.
Q: What content can i see on my TV?
A: Media-Stream can play photos from albums and camera roll. Next (free) releases will allow you to stream music too.
Q: Can any TV play my Media-Stream content as long as it is connected to an Xbox 360?
A: Yes, any TV that is not Internet-connected will work with Media-Stream as long as the Xbox (with Media Center Extender mode enabled) is connected to the same network as your mobile device.
Q: Why i can`t see the pictures on my TV?
A: Some TV models may not work correctly. If that happens, please contact support and we`ll do our best to fix the issue with your device in our next release.
Q: My device is not detected. What can i do?
A: Please make sure your home device is connected to same network as your mobile device. If it is connected to same network but the application can`t see it, please turn off wifi on the mobile device, turn it on, and start again Media-Stream.
Q: Why i can`t see any pictures in albums?
A: Media-Stream requires access to Location Services ( iOS requirement). Usually at first start the application will ask you to use your current location. Please allow it to be able to see the photos.
